KKS Tarnowskie Góry U14 Crowned Champions at HNBT 2026

KKS Tarnowskie Góry U14 have been crowned champions of the HNBT 2026 after an impressive and unbeaten run through the tournament. The Polish side finished with a perfect 5–0 record and capped off their campaign with a convincing 53–41 victory over Open Capital Basketera in the final at Sporthal Europapark.

From the opening tip, KKS showed why they were one of the most complete teams in the tournament. They set the tone early, building a lead in the first half and controlling the pace of the game. Even when Basketera tried to respond after halftime, Tarnowskie Góry remained composed, closing out the game with strong defense and disciplined execution in the fourth quarter.

At the heart of their success was Ziemowit Żochowski, who was deservedly named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Żochowski delivered a standout performance in the final, scoring 30 points and leading his team offensively when it mattered most. Ossowski not only played a key role during the games with his perimeter shooting, but also made his mark off the main schedule by winning the HNBT 2026 U14 3-Point Contest. His shooting touch and confidence from beyond the arc were on full display, underlining his reputation as one of the tournament’s most dangerous outside threats.

After an undefeated group stage, KKS delivered a commanding defensive performance in the semifinal against BK Lokomotiva Plzeň, before finishing strong in the final.
